On May 10th, 2022, Wang Bo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Weifang Customs, Guo Yunsheng, Director of the Office, Wang Qimeng, Director of the Personnel Section, Yu Shuaishuai, Director of the Enterprise Management Section, and Xu Junjie, Deputy Director of the Shouguang Office, visited Haohua tire company for the awarding ceremony of AEO Advanced Certification., Wang Bo, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Weifang Customs, issued the certificate to Haohua Tire and made a speech. Haohua Tire ‘s director, Wang Keqiang, and the general manager, Sui Feifei, attended the ceremony and welcomed the arrival of the customs leaders.
At the meeting, Director Wang Bo congratulated Haohua Tire for getting the AEO advanced certification, expressed support for the development of the company's foreign trade business, and put forward new requirements for the company, hoping Haohua will cherish this honor, strengthen internal management, make persistent efforts , abide by the low and get long-term development.
What is Customs AEO Advanced Certificate?
AEO, short for Authorized Economic Operator, is a system advocated by the World Customs Organization (WCO), which allows the customs to certify enterprises with high credit status, law-abiding degree and level, and give preferential customs clearance to those enterprises which pass the certification.
Advanced certificate is the highest level of the customs enterprise credit rating. Since 2014, the Customs has vigorously promoted the construction of the credit system, and AEO advanced certificate has been praised as the "crown pearl". Its certification process is very strict, covering enterprise operation, management, integrity, qualification, strength (internal control, financial indicators, law abiding norms, trade security) and etc.
Up to now, China Customs has signed AEO mutual recognition agreements with 22 economies including Russia, the European Union and Singapore, covering 48 countries (regions), ranking first in the world in terms of the number of mutual recognition countries (regions). These include 32 Belt and Road countries, 5 member countries of the “Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership “(RCEP) and 13 Central and Eastern European countries.
